Valued Capital is a 'fantasy fund' showing the companies I'd have backed as a seed investor deploying capital. This was inspired by the FIFA Manager game and Fantasy Premier League.
The model is deliberately simple—since it is a fantasy fund, after all. Unlike real-world VC funds, assume there are no follow-on investments, no secondary sales and no dilution illustrated. The 'portfolio' primarily demonstrates the movement in company valuations, i.e. what the value of each investment would've been, not the returns of a fund. Disclaimer: no capital has been raised and no real investments have been made.
The fund operates with $100m AUM deployed through two funds. Fund I (fka Absinthe) is a $50m AI-focused seed-stage fund. Fund II (fka Rocket) is a $50m sector agnostic fund backing companies at Series A-B.
I've also included a brief thesis underpinning each investment Each company includes with a short thesis written for the moment it was selected, together with the investors who backed it, its founders, and links to the public sources behind every figure. Valuations are either drawn from publicly disclosed post-money valuations or estimates based on the latest priced round.
